Do you think these issues are representative of the broader picture of technology adoption in universities?
My expertise is in the FE Sector (16-19 year olds) and I would say that the issues represented in the previous videio and paper, are not the main issues faced by this sector. I am not sure how much of this is due to specific issues related to this sector
What issues would you personally identify as problems associated with the use of digital and networked technologies in education (either in your practice or more generally)?
- Teaching staff not wanting to relinquish control.
- Assumptions made about student expectations and skill levels.
- Exams and qualifications which do not reflect the real world or current pedagogical thinking.
